The Trinity was delighted to her consent. Just then, the Holy Spirit fell into Mary.

She asked him modesty.

“How can this be, since I don’t know a man?”

The angel replied her.

“The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High God will overshadow you, so the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth, your relative is going to have a child in her old age and this is the sixth month in her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Mary answered him.

“I am the Lord’s maidservant, may it be to me as you have said.”

The Trinity was delighted to her consent. Just then, the Holy Spirit fell into Mary.

“Greetings, you are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

Mary was greatly troubled at his words, and wondered what kinds of greeting this might be.

The angel looked up at her, and said.

“Do not be afraid, Mary, for you received the blessing from the God. You will be with Child and give birth to a Son, and you will call Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will never end.”

Luke 1:26-38

In the afternoon, it was the six month after Elizabeth became pregnant.

Mary was praying in her room. She was sixteen years six months and seventeen days old. At that time, the angel Gabriel was sent by the God, and he came into her room, and he knelt down, and greeted to her. (Luke 1:26-38).

The Holy Week

105. Sunday, April 2, 30 A.D. Jesus went into Jerusalem.

The Jews could not walk 900 meters and more on the Sabbath. Nevertheless, Saturday, April 1, 30 A.D., a large crowd of Jews found out there and they visited the mansion of Lazarus, not only to see Jesus but also to see Lazarus, whom He revived from the death. So the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death as well, because the many Jews put their faith on Him. (John 12:9).

Saint John wrote like this in his Gospel.

The next day, a very large crowd that had come to the Feast, and they heard that Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem. (John 12:12)

In other words, it was on Sunday of April 2 of 30 A.D.

When they came to the Mt. Olive, Jesus sent two of His apostles, saying. (Luke 19:28-46).

“Go into the village opposite you, and at once you will find an ass tied, on which no one has ever sat. So you untie it and bring it to Me. If anyone asked you, ‘Why are you losing it?’ you shall say, ‘The Lord needs it’.”

They went and found an ass outside in front of the house just as He said. But when they untied it, the owners of it asked them.

“What are you doing, untying that ass?”

They answered.

“The Lord needs it.”

Then they brought it to Jesus, and they placed their cloaks on the ass, and they set Jesus on it.

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and Jesus came to the Mt. Olive.

The large crowd shouted.

“Blessed is the King Who came in the name of the Lord. Hosanna to the Son of David! Hosanna in the highest!”

The Pharisees advised.

“Teacher, You should rebuke Your disciples.”

He replied.

“I tell you the truth. Even if they become silent, the stones will shout praise.”

When Jesus came near the city, He wept, and said.

“Jerusalem, if you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. The day will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you, and they encircle you and dash to you. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of the God’s coming to you.”

Jesus passed through the gate, and went into the temple courts, and He drove out all who sold and bought in the temple courts.

He said to them.

“It is written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it a den of robbers.”

Jesus gradually came in the female followers’ sights, and they watched Him until He was out of sight, and they lost sights of Him in the crowds.

Jesus entered His house. So you should remember this thing, because what Jesus had said was also true of that case.

See the Chapter 29 of 1 The General Edition. 29. The early stage of the Feast of the Passover that began from on April 11 of 27 A.D. Jesus cleaned the temple.

The early stage of the Feast of the Passover, Jesus found men selling oxen, sheep, and doves, and there were money change shops in the temple courts. At that time, He made a whip out of ropes, and drove out both oxen and sheep from the Temple area. He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. (John 2:14-15).

106. Monday, April 3, 30 A.D., the chief priest asked about the authority of Jesus.

Monday, April 3, 30 A.D., in the morning, when Jesus Christ went to the city, He was hungry, and He found out a fig tree by the road.

When He reached it, He found nothing on it, but leaves only, so He said to the fig tree. (Matthew 21:18-19).

“I tell you, fruit should not grow at all from now.”

He went up to the Temple.

When He went down to the temple courts, there were the chief priests and the elders of the people, and they asked arrogantly. (Matthew 21:23-27).

“Tell us by what authority are You doing these things? Who gave You this authority?”

He replied.

“I also will ask you one thing. If you answered Me, I will reply you by what authority I am doing these things. Tell Me about the baptism of John. Where did it come from? Did it come from heaven or from men?”

They discussed it among themselves, and they said to each other.

“If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, because they are persuaded that John was a prophet.”

So they answered.

“We do not know where it came from.”

He replied.

“The same way, I don’t tell you by what authority I do these things.”

Jesus talked this parable to them. (Matthew 21:33-46).

“There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, and dug a pit in it and built a tower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away for a journey. When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants to collect his fruit. So they seized him, beat him, killed another, and stoned the other servant. Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. But he had still one man. That is, the man is his son. He thought, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘He is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and take his inheritance.’ So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”

They replied.

“He will destroy those foul men, and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants who will give him their shares of the crops at harvest time.”

He said to them.

“Have you never read in the Scripture, ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone? The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes?’ Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to the people who will produce its fruit. He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and he on whom it falls will be crushed.”

When the chief priest and the Pharisees heard this, they knew that Jesus was talking about them, so they looked for the way to arrest Him. But they were afraid of the crowd, because they had thought that He was the prophet.

Where would you like to go in the future?

Can you tell a good from an evil at first sight?

How would you know a good from an evil? What your opinions with regard to those matters?

I think that we must provide for the future. Be careful lost you fall from the heaven. So please pick up the important information from 1 The General Edition. And you should make out what Jesus Christ was saying.

107. Tuesday, April 4, 30 A.D., the plans of the scribes and the Herodian failed.

Tuesday, April 4, 30 A.D., when the disciples saw the fig tree, which was withered by the road, they asked. (Matthew 21:20-22)

“How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”

Jesus Christ replied.

“I tell you the truth. If you have faith and do not doubt, not only you can do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, i.e. the Mt. Olive, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Jesus went up to the temple courts, so the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap Him in His Words, and they sent the scribes along with the Herodian, and they said. (Matthew 22:15-33)

“Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God truthfully, nor do You care about anyone, because You do not regard the position of men. Now tell us Your opinion. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”

Jesus knew their evil intent, so He stared at them, and asked.

“You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap Me? Show a coin to Me used for the tax.”

They gave a coin, so He inspected it, and asked them.

“Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription is this?”

They said.

“It is Caesar’s.”

He said to them.

“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and give to God what is God’s.”

When they heard His opinion, they were astonished, so they went away.

The same day, after a while, the Sadducees who insist that there is no Resurrection came for a question, and they said.

“Teacher, Moses told us, ‘If a man dies without having children, his brother have to marry the widow, and raise up offspring for his brother.’ Now there were the seven brothers. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. The same thing happened to the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh. After them all, the woman died too. Therefore, at the Resurrection, whose wife of the seven men will she be? For all of them were married to her.”

Jesus replied.

“You are badly mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of the God. At the Resurrection, the people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, but they will be like the angels in heaven. But about the Resurrection of the dead, have you never been read in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush. The God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!”

When the crowds heard His opinion, they were astonished.
