The Public Life of Jesus Christ, 30 A.D. Chapter 94 ~ Chapter 95.

The Public Life of Jesus Christ, 30 A.D.

94. Sunday, January 8, 30 A.D. Jesus celebrated the third anniversary of the Baptism.

Sunday, January 8, 30 A.D., Jesus Christ celebrated the third anniversary of the Baptism at the village of Bethany beyond the Jordan River.

In January, 30 A.D., Jesus stayed at the village of Bethany beyond the Jordan River, so the many people said. (John 10:40-42).

“Though John the Baptist never performed a miraculous sign, all that John said about this Man was true.”

In January, 30 A.D., it was so cold there that they couldn’t do without the overcoats, so the trip was called off on account of chilly. But the sick persons insisted on being taken to Jesus Christ, so He cured them.

Thursday, January 26, 30 A.D., Lazarus’ condition became worse.

Monday, January 30, 30 A.D. Jesus revived Lazarus from the death.

95. Sunday, January 29, 30 A.D.: Jesus said. “I am going there to awake him out of sleep.”

There was a man named Lazarus, but he was sick. He lived in Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. This Mary was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair. (John 11:1-2).

I know these things.

Saturday, June 19, 28 A.D. Jesus Christ went to the synagogue of Capernaum on the Sabbath.

Monday, June 21, 28 A.D.: The Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner, so He went to his mansion, and reclined at the table.

When a woman who was a sinner learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s mansion, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume.

She stood behind Him at His feet weeping, and she began to wet His feet by her tears. She wiped them by her hair, and she kissed them and poured perfume on them. (Luke 7:36-50).

Simon of the Pharisees of Capernaum said to himself.

“If this Man were a prophet, He would know who is touching Him and what kind of woman she is, because she is a sinner.”

Jesus asked him.

“Simon, I have something to tell you.”

Simon said.

“What is it? The Teacher, tell me.”

Jesus said.

“There was a certain moneylender, and the two men owed money to him, and one owed five hundred denarii, and the other owed fifty denarii. But neither of them had the money to pay back him, so he cancelled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”

Simon answered.

“I think that it is the one forgiven abundantly.”

Jesus said.

“You have judged correctly.”

He turned toward her and said to him.

“Do you see this woman? I came into your house, but you did not give Me any water for My feet. On the other hand, she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them by her hair. You did not give Me a kiss. But this woman has not stopped kissing My feet. You did not pour oil on My head. But she has poured perfume on My feet. Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven, for she loved Me much. But he who has been forgiven little loves Me little.”

He said to her.

“Your sins were forgiven for your love.”

The other people said.

“Who is He Who even forgives sins?”

He said to her.

“Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Mary Magdalene had other famous episode.

When Jesus and His apostles came to a village, Martha opened her home to Him. She had a sister called Mary Magdalene, who sat at the Lord’s feet, and she heard His Words. Martha was distracted with much work, so she came to Him, and asked. (Luke 10:38-42).

“Lord, don’t You care that my sister has left me to do those works by myself? Tell her to help me!”

He said to her.

“Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good one. So don’t take it away from her.”

The mid-January, 30 A.D., there was little, if any, hope of Lazarus’ recovery.

Thursday, January 26, 30 A.D., Lazarus’ condition became worse, and his sisters knew that Lazarus would have only a few days to live. So Martha sent the words to Jesus. (John 11:3-16).

“Lord, the one You love is very sick.”

Jesus replied.

“This sickness will not end in death, but for the God’s glory so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

Jesus heard that Lazarus was very sick, but He stayed there on Friday, January 27 of 30 A.D., and on Saturday, January 28 of 30 A.D.

After that, Jesus said to His apostles.

“Let us go back to Judea.”

They said.

“Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?”

He answered.

“Are there not twelve hours of daylight? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, for he sees by this world’s light. But he stumbles, when he walks at the night, because he had no light. Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going there to awake him out of sleep.”

The apostles replied.

“Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will get well.”

He told them plainly.

“Lazarus is dead, and for you I am glad that I was not there so that you may believe. Now, let us go to him.”

Thomas said.

“Let us go with Him, and we may die with Him.”

The apostles were reluctant to go Bethany of Judea, because the last winter the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus in public at least two times as follow:

See the Chapter 88 of 1 The General Edition. 88. Jesus gave the warning to the Jews in the temple courts.

See the Chapter 92 of 1 The General Edition. 92. The Jews tried to stone at Jesus at the time of the Dedication.

Miss Maria Valtorta wrote like this.

It is already nightfall when the servant, who is proceeding through the brushwood near the river, spurs his horse, streaming with perspiration, to overcome the difference in level between the river and the road leading to the village.

Saint Peter said to the servant.

It will soon be dark. The moon is already rising… How will you manage at the river?”

I hope to arrive there before the moon sets. Otherwise I shall stop in the wood until down. But I shall get there before.”

“And then? It’s a long way from the river to Bethany. And the moon sets early. She is in her first days.

The first half of 29 A.D. of Public Life of Jesus Christ

68. Friday, January 28, 29 A.D. Jesus was amazed at the faith of a Canaanite woman.

In January, 29 A.D., Jesus Christ and His apostles withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.

Friday, January 28, 29 A.D., the sun rose at 6:39 a.m., and the moon’s zenith which phase of the moon was 24.6 was at 7:53:21 a.m.

A Canaanite old woman from that vicinity came to Jesus.

The old woman shouted. (Matthew 15:21-28).

“Lord, the Son of David. Have mercy on me! My daughter is very suffering from the demon-possession.”

As Jesus ignored her, His apostles came to Him and urged Him.

“Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

He said to them.

“I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

The old woman came and knelt down before Him, shouting.

“Lord, help me!”

He said to her.

“It is not good to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.”

She said.

“Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their master’s table.”

He said to her.

“Woman, you have the great faith! Your request is granted.”

Just then, her daughter was cured.

Jesus wishes peace to the three and adds: “Quick. Take your share and let us leave because I want to be at least at the foot of the mountain of Achzib before evening. The Sabbath begins this evening.”

I think that my book is very useful on doing the meditation, and it exactly corresponds with your needs. For example, when I am meditating of these Chapters, I use my theories for them.

I learned THE BOOK OF THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISES of Saint Ignatius Loyola. But I was not good at THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISED of Saint Ignatius Loyola. That is why I could not make the daydreams and imaginary stories without the dates.

69. Wednesday, March 16, 29 A.D. Jesus gave the right of the leading position to Peter near Caesarea Philippi.

Wednesday, March 16, 29 A.D.: When Jesus Christ came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His apostles. (Matthew 16:13-20 Mark8:27-30 Luke9:18-21).

“Who do people say the Son of man is?”

They replied.

“Some say John the Baptist, the others say Elijah, and the other people say Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

He asked them.

“But who do you say that I am?”

Simon Peter replied.

“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

He said to him.

“Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for it was revealed to you not by man, but by the Father in heaven. I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not match against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Then Jesus warned His apostles not to tell anyone that He was the Christ.

See the Chapter 24 of 1 The General Edition. 24. The early March, 27 A.D., the four men became the disciples of Jesus.

Saturday, March 8, 27 A.D., as Andrew brought Peter to Jesus in Capernaum on the Sabbath; Jesus looked at him, and He said.

“You are Simon son of Jonah. But, from now on, you will be called Cephas.”

And see the Chapter 123 of 1 The General Edition. 123. The miraculous catch of fish

When they had breakfast Jesus Christ said to Peter.

“Simon, the son of John, do you truly love Me more than these men?”

He said.

“Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.”

Jesus said.

“Take care of My sheep.”

70. Thursday, March 17, 29 A.D. Jesus predicted His death.

Thursday, March 17 of 29 A.D., from that time on Jesus Christ began to explain to His apostles that He must go to Jerusalem and very suffers from many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. (Matthew 16:21-28 Mark8:31-33 Luke9:22).

Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying.

“Lord, this shall never happen to You!”

Jesus turned, and scolded him.

“Withdraw from Me! Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Jesus said to His apostles.

“If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me, for whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me will find it. For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his own life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life? The Son of man is going to come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and He will reward each person according to what he has done on the earth. I tell you the truth. There is someone standing here who shall not taste the death until he sees the Son of man coming in His kingdom.”

Peter was, at bottom, an honest man, but he stood out because of his forwardness. In view of his ignorance, Jesus decided to forgive him this time. So I think that it did not matter whether the forwardness of Peter was right or not, and the Roman Catholics would think it like that.

The Roman Catholic Churches were set up one after another, so the number of the Roman Catholics is very large. The many Saints set up their meetings, and according to the Primitive Roman Catholic Church the Pontiff had the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and the next Pope took over the business after Peter’s death. Thus the Roman Catholic connects this world with heaven.

We all know Jesus Christ was right after all, because the many Saints quite agreed with Jesus Christ, i.e. Saint John of the Cross, Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint Augustine of Hippo, and Saint Ignatius Loyola. But the many people made little Jesus’ advice and they took no notice of the true God’s warning, so they went down the everlasting dreadful hell, and they are accusing Lucifer and the demons being too strict with their sins. I know that there is no account for taste. But keep off the hell; stop making a fool of yourself, because I feel for them, who have to works in the hell for ever with the numerous demons.
